The federal government has declared Wednesday, December 25, 2024, as a public holiday to honor Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s birth anniversary.
All banks and institutions will remain closed, as confirmed by a government notification. The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) also issued a statement, announcing that banks and financial institutions will be closed on the day for Quaid-e-Azam Day and Christmas.
The nation will mark the day with great respect, starting with gun salutes in federal and provincial capitals and a changing of the guard ceremony at the Quaid’s mausoleum in Karachi.
