Details about the cases against PTI chairman Imran Khan were shared by the Ministry of Interior in the Islamabad High Court.

The report states that Khan faces 188 cases across Pakistan: 99 in Punjab, 76 in Islamabad, and 2 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The FIA is handling 7 pending cases and inquiries, while NAB is investigating 3 cases.

Khan is also appealing his conviction in the Toshakhana case.

Since his removal as prime minister in April 2022, Khan has faced numerous legal challenges amid continuous PTI protests demanding the “return of their mandate.”

Despite being jailed since May 2023, Khan’s calls for anti-government protests continue. On November 24, PTI supporters, led by his wife Bushra Bibi and KP CM Ali Amin Gandapur, marched into Islamabad despite restrictions. Several more cases were filed for alleged violations during the protests.
